1. About this Giveaway
Brick runs a monthly Giveaway (“Giveaway”) where one eligible Member will win a cash prize equal to one month’s rent up to a maximum of £1,000.
The Giveaway runs from 00:00 on the first day of each calendar month until 23:59 on the last day of that month.
The winner is selected at random and announced at 11:00 on the first day of the following month.
2. Who can enter
To enter the Giveaway, you must:
> be a UK resident aged 18 or over;
> have an active Brick account;
> have an active open banking connection in the app;
> comply with the Brick Terms of Use and Points Scheme Terms.
3. How to enter
You may enter the Giveaway by redeeming Points within the Brick app.
> Each entry requires redeeming a fixed number of Points as shown in the app.
> You may submit as many entries as you wish, provided you have enough Points.
> Points have no monetary value and cannot be purchased.
> Points can only be earned through in-app activity (e.g. referrals, partner transactions).
Redeeming Points for entries does not involve any payment of money.
4. Winner selection & notification
> The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.
> Brick will contact the winner via the email address or mobile number associated with their account.
> If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Brick may select an alternative winner.
5. Prize details & verification
The prize is: A cash payment equal to the winner’s monthly rent, up to a maximum of £1,000.
To claim the prize, the winner must provide reasonable proof of their rent (e.g. tenancy agreement).
> Brick will verify eligibility.
> Once verified, payment will be made by bank transfer within 7 days.
> The prize is paid directly to the winner, not to their landlord.
If verification fails, Brick may select an alternative winner.
6. Fair use, fraud & disqualification
Brick may refuse entries, disqualify Members, or withdraw the prize if:
> entries are made using fraudulent, automated, or abusive methods;
> Points were obtained in breach of Brick's Terms;
> the Member attempts to manipulate or interfere with the Giveaway.
Brick's decision is final.
7. Changes to the Giveaway
Brick may amend, suspend, or withdraw the Giveaway at any time.
If the structure of Points changes in future (e.g. if Points become purchasable), Brick may introduce a free alternative route to entry to ensure continued legal compliance.
8. Limitation of liability
Brick is not responsible for:
> technical issues preventing entry;
> delays or errors in winner notification;
> any losses other than the prize amount itself.
Brick's total liability for this Giveaway is limited to £1,000.
9. Governing law
These Giveaway Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
