Founded in 2000, it has spent over two decades bringing this vibrant cuisine to the West. In the late 19th century, Hakka Chinese migrants settled in Kolkata, introducing their distinctive cooking. In 1920, the Huang family opened the city’s first Chinese restaurant, first serving immigrants, then winning over locals. Inspired by these flavours, street vendors created their own interpretations, giving rise to modern Indo-Chinese cuisine.
